The largest and best-known spa in West Bohemia with numerous sanatoria and museums. There are altogether 60 mineral spring waters here, 12 of which are used for medical treatments. The spring of "V��dlo" (Sprudel) has the warmest mineral water in the Czech Republic - 72.2 degrees Centigrade. These mineral waters are suitable for treating diseases of stomach, gall bladder and digestive systems. Karlovy Vary fine china and glass bearing the trademark "Moser" have an excellent world reputation. So called Thirteen Spring - the original herbal liqueur Becherovka - as well as the International Film Festival, which is held here annually at the beginning of July are other attractions of Karlovy Vary.
