This exceptionally well-preserved Gothic castle transmits the character of a medieval stronghold transformed into a more luxurious Renaissance residence, but visitors can observe the transition from the Gothic period, through the Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo and Classical styles to the Romantic style of the 19th century. During the summer the tours include demonstrations of medieval fencing and chamber concerts of medieval music.
