Buovice
This "Pearl of Moravia" and former seat of the Lichtenstein family is one of the most notable buildings of Italian Renaissance design in the Czech Republic, containing stucco and painted ornaments, symbols, figures and many scenes from ancient history and Classical mythology. Ceiling paintings in the Hare Room represent a "reversed world" in which animals act like people. The vaulted ceiling in the chapel on the first floor of the tower, which was completed in 1637, represents scenes from the live of the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ.
