Vranov nad Dyj
The castle is located in the Podyj National Park. The former 11th century Gothic castle was rebuilt in the 18th century into a magnificent Baroque residence designed by the Austrian architect Johan B. Fischer von Erlach. The so-called „Ancestors Hall“ (1687 - 1695 with paintings by Johann M. Rottmayer) and the Trinity Chapel (1700) are the most notable parts of the castle. According to your wish, it is possible to organize concerts in the castle chapel (50 seats) or with a special permission in the music hall (80 seats).
